Mountain Creek Ranch was founded in the 1970’s by a lovely couple named John and Carla Ortiz, they were Born, Raised and lived in Puerto Rico, But then they decided to move to a nice Valley in the State of Montana. One day John and his wife were getting water from a nearby creek when all of the sudden they saw  Hoove Prints on The mud They follow the Prints and then they find them selves with  wild horses, both fell in love with them as they have the most beautiful colors and Patterns they have ever seen and then they decide to catch them. When they finally did they started working with them till they decided to start their own Ranch. When they went to the horse market they saw APH’s, AQH’s, AAH’s  they were stuned by the Beauty of those mgnificent Horses so the Thought About it and they decided they were the perfect breeds they were looking for, they bought a few Horses and started their own Blood lines, but in a couple of years The Horse Ranch Population grew very, very fast. 
John and Carla had Two Daughters their names were Kimberly and Lexandry, Kimberly is the oldest while Lexandry is the smalest with 20 years of age. 
John and Carla had Kimberly on 1993 they both Agreed to named her Kimberly. then in 1994 they decided to have Lexandry because they didn't want Kimberly to be alone when they pass away. Kimberly and Lexandry Were born with a special bond Towards horses, as Kimberly and her sister were growing up there parents showed Both Kimberly and Lexandry how to take care of the horses they owned, How to handle the ranch and how to work with such impressive horses. 
Then John got very sick and knew he wasn’t going to make it, so he decided to pass on the Ranch’s Ownership Kimberly Since Lexandry Decided to Built a separate Ranch so we could both Breed Our Horses and Pass on the Horses Generations. 
Since then we have been leading our horses blood lines and Focusing on Breeding the Best Top Quality Western Horses.
